Positioned on a crest with breathtaking 360° mountain views, this design demanded a sensitive approach. Our goal was to ensure the dwelling harmonized with the surrounding environment and preserved the area's natural beauty. To achieve this, we nestled the main body of the house into the existing topography, utilizing the natural slope. Sections of the roofline were then thrust upwards to mimic the surrounding schist outcrops .

 

Internally, the house fosters a sense of tranquility. Carefully placed roof apertures allow natural light and ventilation to permeate individual courtyards, which subtly divide the spaces and create a journey of exploration, experience, and vista.
